Visit this home/museum that was
originally built in 1741. Eight rooms filled with
period furnishings, including artifacts and clothing from the Colonial
through the Victorian eras and remnants of saltworks and cranberry-growing
operations. Admission is free.
4. Captain Penniman House Fort Hill
Road off of Rt. 6 (508) 255-3421
Built in the mid-nineteenth
century by an affluent whaling captain. Call ahead for tour

5. Old Eastham Windmill Town
Green, Rt. 6 and Samoset Rd. (508) 240-5900
Originally constructed in 1680,
it is the oldest working windmill on Cape Cod. Call ahead for tour
information Free admission, donations accepted.
6. The Gift Barn Rt. 6, North Eastham

This gift shop has one of the largest
candy shops on the Lower Cape as well as a game room, pizza and subs and
mini golf if the weather clears.
