 Chatham Railroad Museum image  3.  Railroad Museum, 153 Depot Road, Chatham.  (no phone) This "over 100 year old" building houses relics commemorating everything "railroad" including a fully restored Caboose.  Free admission but donations are accepted.
    
4.  Mayo House540 Main Street,  Chatham.  (508) 945-4084.  Excellent example of a traditional Cape Cod house built in 1820. Furnished with period furniture, it is open to the public Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
 

5.  Chatham Aviation Display Located in the Clubhouse Building of Oyster Heights Condominiums, Depot and Hitching Post Roads.  (508) 945-6082    Aviation memorabilia. Open afternoons Wed. Thurs. and Fri.  
 

6.  Chatham's Old Grist Mill (Old Godfrey Windmill), Located near Chase Park off Shattuck Place.  (no phone)  Built in 1797, it is open summers and has free admission!

9.  Theatre  Here are two places in town to enjoy stage arts:

10.  Chatham Bars Inn,  Corner of Shore Road and Seaview St.  (508) 945-0096. This grand inn, built in 1914 overlooks the water.  Even if you aren't staying there, you are welcomed to look around the lobby which has been restored to reflect its original Victorian splendor.
